Leeward Island Charters

1980, St. Kitts and Nevis was an undiscovered twin island gem in the Northern chain of islands known as the “Leewards”. That was when we started our Catamaran charter company, operating in near perfect sailing conditions, between the two islands. The brisk and reliable Trade Winds on the beam both ways and calm seas created by the Lee shore.

“Caona”, our first Catamaran was commissioned then, to be joined later by our 78ft. maxi-catamaran, Spirit of St. Kitts and later by the famous race catamaran “Eagle”. All locally built, by the notorious “Dougie” Brookes. We pride ourselves, knowing that every day we sail, we sail on some of the fastest, most comfortable and sexy sail boats in the Caribbean. Our crew and staff are hand picked and are trained on safety first and fun, drinks, food and sailing, next. (not necessarily in that order)

Throughout our work and while we play we are concerned about the environment in which we work and we may stop a charter to save a turtle. We also welcome you to join us in supporting activities of our growing yachting community.

Our office is based in Basseterre, St. Kitts where our land based crew can take your bookings and arrange every detail and then we will see you on the sea whether it be from St. Kitts or Nevis!
