Vieques is a 20-minute "hop" by small plane from San Juan via Cape Air or Vieques Air Link or from Commuter Airport across town, or a 1-hour ferry ride from Fajardo following a 1 hr. taxi ride from San Juan.

There are numerous private homes, villas, cottages, and apartments for rent by the week, from small and inexpensive to spacious and spectacular.
