Amanda Parr, founder of SoulScuba, is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, a certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and the author of the PADI Yoga Diver course.

Originally from Indiana, USA, she has been travelling and living in diverse environments around the globe for 20+ years, allowing her to explore different approches to Yoga, and life in general.

Following an introduction to Yoga in New York City in the late 1990's, and a residential Yoga Teacher Training at the Integral Yoga Institute at Satchidananda Ashram, VA in 2005, she has continued to learn and share her practice in places like Great Britain, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, Central America, and the Caribbean islands.

Amanda's passion for Scuba Diving started with an introductory Scuba lesson and encounter with a friendly dolphin named Dusty in Spanish Point, Ireland. Life changed forever following this magic moment, and Amanda continued to build her experience and certifications over the years n places like the U.K., Australia, Mexico, and Thailand before completing her professional certifications in the Andaman Islands, India.

She is now based in Nevis, a small island in the Eastern Caribbean where she works as a freelance Yoga and Scuba Instructor, and designs her own brand of Yoga, Scuba, and island themed jewelry, and crafts called Beach Bling. During the low season (August - October), Amanda travels home to the USA and other locations to visit family, share her Yoga and Scuba offerings, and sell her creative work at festivals and seasonal markets.
