For a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, the bustling Cayman Craft Market in downtown George Town is the place to be!

Sample some of Cayman’s culture and heritage as you browse through locally made arts, crafts, and produce. Potter through woven thatch hats and bags, bona fide island jewelry, one-of-a-kind woodcarvings and paintings, handmade products from local materials such as conch and Caymanite, and other jewelry crafted from seeds, beans, and polished coconuts! Local spices, jellies, jams, pickles, snacks, and even hair braiding can be found here!

The Cayman Craft Market was developed by the Cayman Islands Government to provide an avenue for local artists to showcase their unique and indigenous products. Caymanian crafters who employ some of the oldest known skills in the Cayman Islands bring their wares to this little market by the sea.

It has become an integral part of the tourism product and is enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year! Crafts that represent a wider range of Caribbean souvenir items are also offered.

The Craft Market is just a short walk from the cruise ship pier in George Town, located on the junction of South Church Street and Boilers Road, overlooking the glistening waters of George Town Harbour.

Open Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm Open on Saturdays and Sundays if cruise ships are in port.
