Cotton Tree
Cotton Tree is the only luxury boutique cottage hotel in the Caymans. A collection of four pastel-hued, plantation-style cottages just steps from the Caribbean Sea, Cotton Tree is set amidst a lush garden setting of tropical flowers and fruits, lime, banana avocado, guava and mango trees available for the picking, and of course cotton trees for which the hotel was named.

Owner Heather Lockington, a global traveler who was born in the Cayman Islands, built her dream property, creating an authentic haven where guests can embrace Caymanian heritage. Situated on over 400 feet of beachfront property, the boutique hotel is just steps from the Caribbean Sea on the northernmost point of Grand Cayman's West Bay and only 10 minutes from the famed Seven Mile Beach.

Cotton Tree becomes your vacation home, a private luxury hideaway where you can completely unwind and be soothed by the rhythmic sounds of the sea. Take a dip in the freshwater pool - just steps from your residence. Maintain your workouts in the fitness center, enjoy yoga or indulge in a relaxing spa treatment in the open air pavilions nestled among the seagrape trees. Guests can also experience activities hand-selected by Heather including biking to Barker's National Park, bird-watching, art and culinary classes, as well as the Cayman's world-famous watersports.

Uniquely named Almond, Cocoplum, Seagrape and Thatch, each two-bedroom cottage measures 1,600 square feet and has all the comforts of a fully equipped luxury home. 

Each cottage has been carefully designed and detailed with tastefully appointed living spaces, gourmet kitchens, spa bathrooms, daily maid service and a media library of books, music and dvds.

Highlights of the "Caribbean chic" d�cor include classic contemporary furnishings, French doors overlooking the sea, black-and-white photos of old Cayman, 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, and in the baths, full-sized Elemis products, a spa or rainforest shower and Jacuzzi tub. There are three 42" plasma TVs, an iPod docking station, Wii, free WiFi, laser printer and laptop available for guest use. Additionally, hotel services such as a reception/concierge, bellhop, housekeeping and turndown on request are also featured.

One of owner Heather Lockington's passions is gastronomy, so Cotton Tree's kitchens are truly state-of-the-art. Each cottage is fitted with full sized Kitchen Aid appliances, granite counter tops, high-end cutlery and cooking utensils, a French press coffee maker, a selection of gourmet teas, coffees, and bottled water.

Cottages are pre-stocked with regular and decaffeinated coffee, bottled water, tea, milk, sugar, orange juice and assorted cereals. These items are replenished daily as required. A personal chef can whip up gourmet meals accompanied by wines selected by a sommelier.
